CF Living

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a chronic disease that affects about 30,000 children and adults in the U.S. It requires a life-long commitment to treatment and a healthy lifestyle. The website CF Living was created on behalf of a pharmaceutical client in order to provide ongoing support to all those impacted by CF.

For this assignment, I was responsible for all the research and content generation for the site, as well as multiple electronic newsletters that were customized for seven market segments.

Tarceva

As the interactive agency for Tarceva, a chemotherapy drug, we were charged with turning printed materials into online experiences. This recently involved collaborating with the AOR to bring their material to life on Tarceva.com.

For this assignment, we completely restructured the existing site, and I was able to draw from existing approved online content, as well as newly approved printed content.

LYRICA

Technical writing isn't a super fun thing to show off, but I think the process of turning highly scientific content into a compelling (and simple) story is an important skill.

I was given that opportunity when I was tasked with creating the primary sales tool for pharmaceutical representatives of LYRICA. The entire process involved months of nationwide market research with physicians, intense research, and many meetings with scientists and medical experts.

...and all I have to show for it are some lousy charts.

PRISTIQ

As the agency of record for a big pharmaceutical client, your responsibilities are varied. We were responsible for the launch of PRISTIQ, a treatment for depression. My role included interviewing members of the client's internal team to create electronic newsletters, as well as creating the Brand Book.

The Brand Book served as the guidelines for international affiliates creating materials in their respective countries. It's filled with good ol' fashioned secret stuff, like what that logo really means...or what's so special about purple and yellow...and what the heck that brand name is all about...

I can't help that I'm an International Woman of Mystery - it just happened!

Prometa

Prometa is a revolutionary treatment that tackles the physical side of addiction so that the patient may focus on the mental component of their drug abuse. Given at a treatment facility in LA, we decided to capitalize on the local geography as well as the collective celebrity-focused mentality.

Overnight, we blanketed the LA area with bright yellow billboards, like the one shown above. This approach garnered international coverage, including a story about our campaign on MSNBC. It also increased calls to the client by 400%.

Capitol Lighting

Capitol Lighting was a fun, somewhat cheeky client that sold lighting fixtures at cut-rate prices. Because they were still quite expensive, we decided to keep it on the high-brow side. Can you imagine being directed to use big words and historical references in ad copy?!?

It was a rare opportunity - and I had a lot of fun working for a client that didn't take themselves too seriously. This was never more evident than when they renovated a store, and allowed us to actually make fun of them for it...
